Certification

The CWB and TSSA certification tests are entry standards for most local welding and fabrication shops.

Welding At Its Best is an authorized CWB Test Centre offering All Position CWB Certification to those who qualify in the following welding processes:

a) Shielded Metal Arc Welding (STICK)

b) Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG)

c) Flux Cored Arc Welding
    (on plate flat position only)

TSSA certification is available to those who qualify in the following processes:

a) Shielded Metal Arc Welding
    (STICK) (on plate or pipe)

b) Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) (on plate)

c) Gas Tungsten Arc Welding
    (TIG) (on carbon or stainless plate or pipe)

d) Flux Cored Arc Welding
    (flat position only)

These programs do not require approval under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.
